Internal Accountant / Financial Controller

 Kortenberg |  Permanent Contract – Part-time 3/5

To support our structured growth, we are strengthening our finance team with an experienced and hands-on professional combining operational accounting and financial controlling.

 Your Responsibilities

• Daily accounting operations (AP/AR, payroll, financial entries)
• Preparation of periodic VAT returns
• Support in monthly financial reporting
• Customer reminders, supplier follow-up & cash flow management
• Budget preparation and monthly variance analysis
• Critical review of invoicing and financial processes
• Coordination with management and external accountant
• Contribution to digitalisation and continuous process improvement

 What You Bring

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (SME or accounting firm)
• Strong knowledge in accounting & financial management — taxation is a plus
• Strong IT skills (Excel, Power BI, EXACT Online)
• Proactive, structured, team-oriented and able to work autonomously
• Bilingual French/Dutch OR strong French with understanding of Dutch
